Friday Night Live Shows
Every Friday Night ZEAL brings to you a live music venue, with Rock, Hip Hop, Hardcore, Acoustics & Dance Parties. This is your place to be entertained, but also take the stage yourself, and perform live. If you're a local band, muso, rapper, dancer etc, then get in contact with us, we'd love to hear from you. Acoustic Shows
ZEAL brings you Global acoustics. Are you a Singer/Songwriter looking for somewhere to share your talent? We have regular Acoustic Shows, keep an eye out on the gig guide. Then every wednesday at Global Cafe we have Acoustic Sessions. Contact James to get involved.
Rehearsal Rooms
Zeal has 3 Rehearsal Rooms, for you to jam till your hearts content, just put in a request for a time slot. The rate includes a vocal PA & 2 mics, but we also have full backline gear available for hire if you can't quite afford your own amp yet.
Recording Studio
Zeals Recording Studio will be up and running by early 2009. We'll have everything you need to lay down your first single or EP, with an experienced in house Sound Engineer. Contact Zeal to find out when the studio will be open for recording, and to book yourself in.
Discussion Group
For inquisitive young people to get together over dinner and talk about 'the issues'. From global warming to capitalism, free trade to evolution, it's a chance for no holds barred discussions of the most pressing issues in our world today with some of the keenest academic minds.
Band Development / Mentoring
If you're a local muso but don't have any mates who can play instruments, then get in touch with Zeal. We'll help hook you up with some like minded musos and get your path to music stardom started. We also have some great NZ musicians who are keen to help you on your way, with anything from, song writing, stage performance, to how to look after your gear properly.
Art Exhibitions
Zeal has a gallery wall and art studio setup here just for you. This is your chance to showcase, have a gallery opening, and even sell you art. Check Rates page to hire out the gallery space, or contact Zeal to have your art somewhere in the venue. (free gallery space in cafe)
Artist Collective
A chance for artists from all genres (musicians, artists, dancers, singers, designers, poets etc) to get together, share talent, hear from industry gurus, and begin to establish a great community of creative minds in Waitakere.
Media Suite
Zeals Media Suite is your place to design, edit & create. With 10 Mac Computers, you can chill in the media suite and become the next Peter Jackson, Google for info for a school assignment or just check your Bebo.
Global Cafe
The Global Cafe is open Monday to Thursday - 3pm till 7pm & Saturday 12pm till 4pm. Come get some great coffee, and chill out.
