In 2009 Zeal received an invitation to look at the prospect of opening a third Zeal operation in Hamilton city. So far a research project has been done with 200 local teenagers on where they would like a youth space and what they would want within it. Based on that research Zeal is moving ahead with a commitment to seeing Zeal Hamilton fully functional by 2013. The facility will include a fully equipped performance space, Recording studio, art space, dance studio and Café.

In the immediate future Zeal is putting together a virtual Zeal mobile unit that will include:

A full PA unit and set of back-line gear for gigs
A sign written van to store and move the equipment
A fully functional coffee trailer to be used as a mobile youth café
A full-time youth worker / Events coordinator employed

The Virtual Zeal mobile unit will be operated by one paid worker and supported by Zeal’s volunteer army of local teenagers, musicians, artists etc.
