1. How do you keep it alcohol/drug free? Zeal has a zero tolerence policy on alcohol for young people showing up to events and programmes, but strongly encourages intoxicated youth to return when they are sober. Zeal actively applies harm reduction practices to youth severely intoxicated at events.
2. Are you a religious organisation? Zeal is a faith-based organisation but has an inclusive approach to all cultures, orientations and religions. Similiar to Barnardos and Salvation Army social services, Zeal focuses on meeting a social and demographic need without promoting its own ideologies on its clients.
3. What security is there at events? Zeal contracts out security events at both of its youth centres to ensure that there is professional support for staff to address any crowd-related problems at event.
4. What age groups can come to events? In Auckland young people aged 13 and up are welcome at Zeal events. In Wellington young people 13 and older are welcome at events except for Dance parties, which remain R15.

6. How can I get involved/volunteer at Zeal? Zeal is always looking for volunteers to run, support or create new pathways and programmes for young people attending our service. If you have an idea or have heard of the programmes being run and want to help out, contact the Wellington or Auckland managers respectively.
